Важность заполярной морской трассы демонстрируется в увязке с началом работ по добыче полезных ископаемых с целью понимания масштабов требуемой для этого инфраструктуры и морского флота.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Issues of North Sea Route development are considered. The possible influence of external factors over the Arctic policy of Russia is analyzed through the prism of the Arctic Doctrine adopted by the US Department of Defense (DoD).
