Abstract
The article considers concepts of the science-intensity and innovation. The authors describe characteristics and factors of the science-intensity, give a classification of science-intensive industries. They identify the main components of the innovative economy.The authors explain how science-intensity and innovation have an impact on the development of the nation economy. The article analyzes the main issues of Russia’s modern economic development and ways of solving them through effective interaction of the science, business, society and state
