Civil law principle of good faith as an ethical and legal category

Abstract
The article analyzes the essence and importance of the good faith as an ethical category and as a civil law principle. It reveals stages of social development, explaining the importance and need for legislative consolidation of the principle of good faith and analyzes the relationship of the principles of good faith and freedom of contract.
