Legal status of special administrative regions under Russian law

Abstract

The article is about the study of the legal status of Russian special administrative regions (SAR), as well it considers the procedure for obtaining the status of a SAR participant and analyzes the reasons for the formation of such special territories, the goals and objectives of their functioning. The author also goes into the requirements for potential participants in the SAR.
